Savage Valley Ranch Mission and History

Savage Valley Ranch is our 30 acre bit of paradise located near Rogue River, OR  With gently sloping pastures, miles and miles of BLM forest behind and beautiful mountain views we consider ourselves blessed.  The ranch is less than one mile from the Rogue River and was a seasonal camp for Native Americans.  After finding gold, the area was then mined.  The name savage does reference the Native Americans in the area, rather it refers to an early settler family with the last name of Savage that lived here.

In 2013 our family of six decided to sell our home in town and move to the country.
